Escape to Ada Bojana island
On top of the sandy beaches in town, Ulcinj has another trick up its sleeve. Head south out of town and you’ll reach Ada Bojana – a triangular-shaped island. This place is splashed by the sea on one side and the River Bojana on the other two. It’s also a great spot to try your hand at kitesurfing due to the shallow waters and thermal winds. It’s a 20-minute bus ride away – unless you decide to jump off at one of the tiny, uncrowded beaches along the way.
