Best time to go to Crete
In Crete, things start to hot up in April, and until June balmy mid-20s temperatures are on the cards. As summer kicks in, you’re looking at temperatures in the high-20s, with the mercury sometimes hitting the 35°C mark. But, seasonal winds stop Crete holidays from getting too hot. There’s not much difference in weather across the island, although the east, where the Lassithi region is, tends to be slightly warmer than Chania in the west. In terms of rain, you’ll hardly see a drop during summer – it mostly falls between November and March.
