Join the jet-set on Panarea island
Good things really do come in small packages – just ask Panarea. At three kilometres by two kilometres, it’s the dinkiest of the Aeolian Islands, but also the most exclusive. Milan’s glitterati park their yachts in the tiny harbour here and top up their tans on the terraces of whitewashed hotels. Catch a boat from Tropea and you could be joining them within about 90 minutes.
