Stretch out on a trio of beaches
Five minutes’ drive away is Potami Beach. This lengthy curve of pebbles is backed by a swathe of forest, and the petite church of St Nicholas perches on a hill at one end. There’s a snack bar nearby for nibbles, too. Further afield is the duo of Mikro and Megalo Seitani. After a forty-minute drive from Karlovasi, you’ll need to walk the last leg of the journey. The pebbles are as white as it gets, and the turquoise shallows round off the postcard-perfect scene.
