Head to the market in Santa Cruz De La Palma
There’s a large supermarket in Los Cancajos, but Santa Cruz de La Palma's on standby for souvenir shopping. On Calle O’Daly street you can pick up clay sculptures and embroidered linens, along with the famous La Palma cigars, said to be Winston Churchill’s favourite. From Monday to Saturday, there’s also a market on Avenida de Las Nieves, where you can haggle for Canarian wine and palm honey.
