Soak up the views at the Archangelous Monastery
This whitewashed monastery crowns the top of a cliff near the village of Aliki. You can walk around the courtyard and church, but most people come for the views – you can look out over the Aegean Sea all the way to Mount Athos on the Greek mainland. If you want a memento of your time here, the nuns sell hand-painted icons and other knick knacks.
