Haggle for gifts in the medina
Wander through the cobbled streets and covered walkways of the medina, and you’ll find an Aladdin’s cave of treasures. Copper plates, shisha pipes, woven baskets and one-off bits of jewellery are all heaped high on stalls. And when you arrive, be prepared to haggle. Not only will you get a bargain, but you might land a free mint tea for your efforts – especially if you’re buying a killim rug.
