I’m Grace, I’m 30, a proud Welshie and obviously all things travel obsessed! When I finished studying to be a pharmacist at uni, I took some time out to travel, where I met my fiancé, Matt and we explored Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Canada together. After that, I started sharing my travels on Instagram and helping others plan their trips, which I love so much.
I’m definitely the type of traveller that likes to visit new places, but there are a few exceptions. I love Italy (who doesn’t?) and I could keep going back to Croatia. I always like to have everything planned well in advance, too, with a full itinerary, including restaurants, beaches, experiences etc. I really love doing the research and getting to know what my trip will look like because it makes me excited. I always think ‘when will I be back here?’ so I like to make sure I’ve got all the best things covered.

Move over, Majorca and Ibiza… it’s Menorca’s time to shine! This Balearic babe flies under the radar compared to its bigger and buzzier sister islands, but I’m here to convince you that Menorca has so much to offer. Here are my top tips for spending four days on this stunning Spanish island… Read Grace’s full itinerary.
The last time I was in Ibiza was over 10 years ago, which is crazy, and although it was loads of fun back then, I knew this trip was going to be epic!… Read Grace’s full itinerary.
I feel like Marrakech is somewhere you can come back to time and time again – and I don’t say that often about places! The last time I was here was in 2022 with my Mum and it was very different because of COVID, so I was super excited to come back. Over the last few years, I’ve been saving a list of ‘must-dos’ and ‘must-sees’, so it was about time to check them out… Read Grace’s full itinerary.
I’ll be the first to admit that Tenerife and the Canary Islands haven’t been at the top of my travel list, but WOW was I proven wrong on this trip! For starters, we went in January, which was such a treat to get a bit of winter sun without travelling too far. I was determined to seek out some spots on the island that you might not expect and there were so many – we will deffo be back because we didn’t have enough time to see them all! So, if you’re heading to Tenerife and want to see more of the island like we did, here’s the lowdown on how we spent five days there… Read Grace’s full itinerary.
Budapest had been on my Christmas city break wish list for years, so I was super excited to finally get to visit. As always, I’d done lots of research on all the sights, places to eat and of course the Christmas markets, so I knew we were in for a great weekend… Read Grace’s full itinerary.
As soon as we arrived in Copenhagen, I knew we were in for a great weekend away. The cyclists, the colourful buildings and the beautiful waterfront – I already loved the city’s vibe. I spent three full days exploring the city, but it has SO much to offer… here are my top tips and recs for how to make the most of a short-n-sweet city break to the Danish capital. New York is such a dream destination for me and arriving at the airport for the first time, I was filled with excitement as to what the next few days would hold. I’d spent hours prepping the itinerary making sure I was making the most of our time, as well as the really difficult decision of picking where to eat from my huge list of restaurants, bakeries and fast-food spots I’ve had saved over the years… Read Grace’s full itinerary.
Touching down in my favourite European country, it felt great to be back and I was looking forward to exploring a new area I hadn’t been to before. We spent the next few days in Makarska, a fishing town about an hour south of Split. The town itself has a long promenade lined with bars, restaurants and plenty of excellent ice cream stalls to choose from. Then, you reach the waterfront and Old Town area, which has lots of history and charm – the little streets are great to get lost in… Read Grace’s full itinerary.
I was very excited to be returning to the French Riviera as a First Choice Insider, having not visited for over six years! Our base for the weekend was in Cannes at the brand new Okko Hotel, conveniently located next to the train station and close to the promenade, as well as lots of shops and restaurants in the town… Read Grace’s full itinerary.
If you don’t like sightseeing, urban beaches and great food, you definitely won’t like Porto… I was lucky enough to spend a short-and-sweet four days there, and I fell in love! There’s so much to see (and taste) in the city, as well as some beautiful nature you can escape to just outside. If you need help planning your trip to Porto, here’s what I got up to… Read Grace’s full itinerary
