@gracegrangetravel

I’m Grace, I’m 30, a proud Welshie and obviously all things travel obsessed! When I finished studying to be a pharmacist at uni, I took some time out to travel, where I met my fiancé, Matt and we explored Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Canada together. After that, I started sharing my travels on Instagram and helping others plan their trips, which I love so much.

I’m definitely the type of traveller that likes to visit new places, but there are a few exceptions. I love Italy (who doesn’t?) and I could keep going back to Croatia. I always like to have everything planned well in advance, too, with a full itinerary, including restaurants, beaches, experiences etc. I really love doing the research and getting to know what my trip will look like because it makes me excited. I always think ‘when will I be back here?’ so I like to make sure I’ve got all the best things covered.

Move over, Majorca and Ibiza… it’s Menorca’s time to shine! Marrakech, Morocco

I feel like Marrakech is somewhere you can come back to time and time again – and I don’t say that often about places! The last time I was here was in 2022 with my Mum and it was very different because of COVID, so I was super excited to come back. Over the last few years, I’ve been saving a list of ‘must-dos’ and ‘must-sees’, so it was about time to check them out… Read Grace’s full itinerary.

Tenerife, Spain

I’ll be the first to admit that Tenerife and the Canary Islands haven’t been at the top of my travel list, but WOW was I proven wrong on this trip! For starters, we went in January, which was such a treat to get a bit of winter sun without travelling too far. I was determined to seek out some spots on the island that you might not expect and there were so many – we will deffo be back because we didn’t have enough time to see them all! So, if you’re heading to Tenerife and want to see more of the island like we did, here’s the lowdown on how we spent five days there… Read Grace’s full itinerary.

Makarska, Croatia

Touching down in my favourite European country, it felt great to be back and I was looking forward to exploring a new area I hadn’t been to before. We spent the next few days in Makarska, a fishing town about an hour south of Split. The town itself has a long promenade lined with bars, restaurants and plenty of excellent ice cream stalls to choose from. Then, you reach the waterfront and Old Town area, which has lots of history and charm – the little streets are great to get lost in… Read Grace’s full itinerary.

This place is known for having vibrant blue water and you can hire a pedalo, kayak, SUP or motorboat to see it.
