Explore the old town
Geneva’s old town flaunts a maze of cobbled streets, and is home to lots of galleries, museums and historical landmarks. You’ll find the famous Cathedrale Saint-Pierre de Geneve built into a hillside here, and it’s worth the climb to visit it. Geneva’s government headquarters are also in the old town, as is the city’s oldest house, which dates back to the 12th century.
