Agia Paraskevi Festival

July sees one of Greece’s most celebrated festivals transform the streets of Mykonos Town with parties and dancing. Saint Agia Paraskevi was persecuted for being a Christian over 2,000 years ago, but she refused to renounce her faith even when tortured. She’s honoured with a procession and traditional music by the harbour, complemented by plenty of food and wine.
