Grab a meal at a milk bar
You’ll find traditional milk bars dotted all over Warsaw. These canteen-style eateries rose to popularity in the communist era, as a way to serve inexpensive food to the masses. These days, they still dish up cheap and hearty meals, usually consisting of meat, potatoes, vegetables and dairy. Pop in to one and join the locals for a taste of good old fashioned Polish food.
