Take a daytrip to the Grand Canyon

Leave behind the bright lights of the strip and spend a day ogling the Grand Canyon. This 277-mile-long crater is famous for its other-worldly scenery, made up of jagged edges, vertical cliff-faces and burnt-red rock. One of the best ways to see it is by stepping out onto the Skywalk – a glass-bottomed U-shaped bridge – if you’re feeling brave enough. It’s two and a half hours driving time to get there, or 45 minutes in a helicopter if you’d rather travel like a high roller.
