Frequently Asked Questions

For your outbound and return flights, you’ll need to check in digitally on the MyRyanair app and download your boarding passes to your device. Fees will apply if you don’t have a digital boarding pass. To check in:

  1. Download or open the MyRyanair app on your phone.
  2. Go to My Bookings and select your flight.
  3. Complete the check-in process.
  4. Download your boarding pass or save it in your device’s wallet.

At the airport, show your digital boarding pass at security and when boarding.

Digital check-in opens:

  • 60 days before departure if you’ve paid to pick your allocated seats
  • 24 hours before departure if you haven’t selected a seat. You’ll be randomly allocated a seat free of charge.

Online check-in closes 2 hours before your flight’s scheduled departure time. Bag drop is open from 2 hours to 40 minutes before the scheduled departure time. Remember you’ll need to check in for your return flight, too.

PLEASE NOTE: If you’re travelling to or from Morocco or Turkey (excluding the Dalaman area), digital boarding passes are not accepted. You must carry a printed copy of the boarding pass and present it at the Ryanair check-in counter. If you don’t have your boarding pass and don’t have internet access in the airport, you can get your boarding pass printed at the check-in desk for an additional fee.
