My bag is missing or damaged following a Ryanair flight, what do I do?

If your bag is lost, delayed or damaged, you need to report it to the lost property desk at the airport. You’ll be given a Property Irregularity Report (PIR) with a 10-character file reference, which you can use to track updates about your bag.  

If you want to make a claim for missing or damaged bags, you can do this at www.damagedluggage.com. Just so you know, you’ll need to make your claim within a certain number of days: 

  • Damaged bags – your claim must be submitted to Ryanair within seven days of the bag being damaged. 
  • Missing bags – your claim must be submitted to Ryanair within 21 days of the bag going missing.
